The weather is great and today is a holiday, so it was absolutely packed at the club last night - probably the busiest it's been since I started there.
My friend Jesse spun a killer guest DJ set last night. He played some great tracks, including the new single from Dirty Pretty Things (Carl Barat from The Libertines' new band); as well as some great songs by the Long Blondes, A Band Of Bees, and Soledad Brothers. He also threw in some classics from Oasis, The White Stripes, The Dandy Warhols, and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. It was a really good set, and a really fun night - he'll definitely be guest DJ-ing again some time in the summer. I'll try to post the date(s) here in advance.
