Last night, this Thursday, and this Friday

Thanks to everone who made it out to the Alex P. Keaton last night. It was great! Lots of dancing, and lots of great requests. And, the weather was great for the patio.

For those who didn't make it to opening night... there's always next week. Come out and dance, and drink. If last night was an indication of things to come, Tuesday nights this spring/summer are going to be amazing!

This Thursday night at GT's, we're doing a CD release party for the Kaiser Chiefs' great new album, 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' (which was produced by Stephen Street - very cool). We'll have a bunch of copies of the album to give away, and I'll play a bunch of tracks from it too!

And finally, this Friday's show on CHRW will feature an interview with Wayne Petti of Cuff The Duke. He'll be in town for a show this Saturday night at the APK.

Pulp Friction launch party!

There's just six days left until the launch party for Pulp Friction at The Alex P. Keaton!

94.9 CHRW will be presenting this brand new weekly event, and on Tuesday the 27th we'll have lots of great prizes to give away, courtesy of of the folks at that fine radio station.

New DJ Gig!

I'm very excited to announce that starting March 27th, I'm bringing the Tuesday night dance party back to the Alex P. Keaton (580 Talbot St. in London). You'll be able to dance the night away to Indie, Garage, New Wave, Post-Punk, Britpop and New Rave. There will also be drink specials and guest DJ's. If you use Facebook, join our group. This Thursday and Friday

This Thursday night my friend Jesse (aka DJ Fraggle Rock), will be filling in for me at GT's. He's done the gig before and plays the same type of music as me, so you'll still be able to dance all night. Then on Friday, somebody will be filling in for my show on CHRW as well. I'm not sure who it will be or what they'll play, but tune in anyway if you like surprises. I'll be back for both next week.

Because Of The Times

So, the new Kings Of Leon album is absolutely amazing. It's called 'Because Of The Times', and will be in stores on April 3rd.

I was really looking forward to buying the LP when it comes out, but a friend of mine made me a copy that he downloaded and I couldn't resist listening to it. Now I can't stop listening to it!

If there's going to be a better album released this year, it's going to have to pretty awesome to top this one. Check out the first single and some pics of them in the studio on their MySpace page.
