So, since you've seen my playlist from last Friday's radio show, you already know what my favourite albums of the year are. Now, here's the actual numbered list. Some of my friends gave me a hard time about posting a Top 20 and not just a Top 10, but I'm thinking that if NME and Pitchfork both do Top 50 lists, then a list of 20 should be alright. Actually, figuring out the order was the toughest part of doing this, as they're all great albums.
You'll notice that Hard-Fi and Mew aren't on the list. That's because their latest albums were released in 2005 overseas, and since I'm a firm believer that if possible, music should be released worldwide at the same time, let's just say that those are indeed albums from 2005. By the way, both would have been in the top 10.
